October 13 and 14. Industry Hills Pro Rodeo
Purpose To help out at the Kiwanis booth
Specifics Volunteers will be handing out flier and selling items. There are three shifts: saturday [4:30-8:00 PM] and sunday [11:00 AM-2:00 PM] and [1:30-5:00 PM]

October 10. ALL Club Applications and Cabinet Applications Due
Specifics Turn in all forms at the lunch meeting in D-18. Remember to include the $13 for membership fees.

October. Book Donations
Purpose Collect books to donate
Specifics Bring any books in GOOD condition to Mr. Recinos' room, D-18. Place books in the box at the back of the room.

March 4. Awards Prejudging South
Purpose A district-wide event to help evaluate awards that our fellow KIWIN'S members submitted

March TBD. Appreciate 'Yo Teachers
Purpose To show our appreciation to the patience and time our teachers put into their jobs!
Specifics We will be sticking cute stickers Anisha made onto tissue boxes (yes, we still have a million) and delivering them to the faculty.

March 22. Parent Teacher Conferences
Purpose To help out at the PTC by setting up, working with teachers and parents, then cleaning up after its over!

March 22th. 5 -8 PM in Wilson's auditorium.

March 24. Los Angeles Regional Foodbank
Purpose To commit time to reach out and make a difference in the lives of hungry children, families, and seniors. We will be helping sort incoming food from food drives or assembling care packages for the Foodbank's Commodity Supplemental Food Program.

Purpose To beautify our campus by picking up litter, re-painting walls and doors, cleaning tables and the like.

Purpose To provide carepackages for the heros defending our country in Iraq.

March-April. Hope Bracelets
Purpose To re-ignite our club's passion for service by making unique "hope bracelets" and trading them with fellow members
Specifics Each bead on the bracelet will represent one good thing an individual hopes to do in the world in his or her lifetime

April 13-15. DCON!!!
Purpose To celebrate a year's worth of service with spirited KIWIN'S members from all over California, Nevada and Hawaii!
